Same reasons the price of everything else is going up. Tariffs and war in Iran.

this is what i'd expect from a sale price. i keep 1-2 of these in reserve for use and i typically pay 35ish for refurbs and 50ish for new

It's the best of a bunch of bad MMO mice. It's really too niche of a product that none of the company bothers making any good ones.

This one's notable weakness is that it has no extra buttons on the left click and no side tilt on the wheels. That's 4 missing buttons. This means all the extra buttons are accounting for basic buttons found on other mice with fewer buttons.

Also, it has the ring and pinky rest, in case some are looking for something smaller to grasp. Only the Aerox 9 seems to be the only mmo mouse on the market without the finger rest. Though that mouse suffers from bad ergonomics on its side.

I miss the design of the Logitech g604, though it used cheap materials.

Its (arguably) largest competitor, the Logitech G600, also has been discontinued without an update/refresh to the product line.

Don't buy it if you are gonna be more than 5 feet from your machine. Corsair's wireless is terrible.

You can pry the G600 from my Cold Dead Fingers... like, I'm going to have to learn to repair it when it inevitably dies, since it's the last one I have now (I only bought one backup, and I regret that now ;?).

They still make the G600 in Japan. It's called the Logicool g600t. There are sellers on ebay and a few online retailers that offer them as well (brand new). I do not own one, but I've read posts from people who do and they said they sync seamlessly with the Logitech software and register as a g600 when connected. They tend to run about $100-125 from what I've seen.
