The pictures quality is better but they botched the sound, it was originally mono but they remixed it to 5.1 and now all the sound effects are very loud and it overpowers the music, it just sounds off. I preferred the mono audio of the original dvds.

I'm a little biased but this is the best animation show ever. Growing up as a teenager I was shocked they actually killed off a main character. The good guys never die. Boy was I wrong. Hoping they make a live action movie before I die. Lol

Part 1 is 36 episodes, for $32 isn't bad at all, less than $1/episode.
For anybody else curious what the entire "set" costs because they're also interested in getting a cohesive set:Reviews on Amazon say the digital code doesn't work on Funimation's website which is unfortunate for anybody wanting to redeem that. Dunno if Funimation is issuing new codes or if it is a limited-time thing that has expired. If you're interested in that, I'd recommend reaching out to Funimation ahead of time and seeing if they're offering replacement codes.
