It's a wide thin neck profile. But it is very comfortable. I usually prefer a rounded 50's profile.

Agreed. I got one a while back. Very pretty. Great sound. I generally don't like the shorter neck radius, but it more than makes up for it every other way.

I've been eyeing this one for a while now. I think they were about this price late last year and debated on getting one then but they went back up on price. Then they've hit this price over the past couple of weeks. I mostly can't decide between the Blue Matteo and Lake Blue one.

Also, not trying to be pedantic but these are not quilt tops but rather flame tops.

This is one of the best incarnations of the best lines in this range. Plays way above its class. Limited colors it looks like, but if that doesn't phase you, it's a solid guitar in all aspects, including aesthetics. I have two, one similar to these and one of their exotic wood series, and absolutely love them.

Theonly thing that would give me pause is why this is being sold under "Video Games" as a category, why the limited color selection. A little odd. But it says sold/shipped by Amazon, so I guess it's legit? This is a guitar that gets copied by Chinese guitar companies fairly often, along with Gibsons, etc.

I find the brighter Matteo Blue is more striking, especially against the maple neck.

I agree and I ended up with the Blue Matteo one.

I like it so far. It's definitely very Teal in appearance and weighs 7 lbs. 10 oz. The top is a very nice flame maple veneer and the mahogany back is matched up very well, which I know doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Also, the pickup rings are white in color and not black as shown in the stock picture, which I was hoping for myself.
