This CAP Adjustabell is a single 55 pound adjustable dumbbell that keeps a full size frame while leaving unused plates in the tray. It stands out as a space saving home gym option that still handles normal dumbbell work well, and the single unit format fits workouts that use one dumbbell at a time. The price is described as solid even for a pair, though the plates can wiggle and rattle a bit during exercises. The adjustment mechanism also needs the handle pushed down while turning in the dock, so it is a practical pick if you want adjustability and can live with a little mechanical fuss.
The adjustable dumbbell setup can work well when training with only one side at a time.
The full-size frame design can leave some plates in the tray depending on the selected weight.
The dumbbells can support a wide range of dumbbell activities for home-gym workouts.
The adjuster mechanism can be workable after using the dock technique of pushing down while turning the handle.
The weight plates can show minor wiggle or rattle during exercises.
The adjuster mechanism can raise safety concerns about weakening and plates potentially falling.
The listing can be confusing because it is for a single adjustable dumbbell rather than a pair.

I've never used adjustable dumbbells before - seeing in-store returns at Walmart is an option, I decided to pull the trigger.
.
Edit: im dumb. I re-read the instructions. You have to push down on the handle and turn handle while its in the dock.
