This is a really excellent fully upgraded plan with unlimited high speed data, and most regular Verizon customers should absolutely consider choosing Visible instead for potentially significant cost savings. We have successfully used our smartphone as a hotspot multiple times when our regular internet service was down. There are no extra data charges for high speed streaming, without any throttling whatsoever, while using 2 laptops and a TV. The regular cell service is good, too. Keep in mind that Visible is owned by Verizon and runs on Verizon towers preferentially, so don't choose this service if coverage isn't great in your area. And YES, the price will go back up at the end of the promotional year, but Visible will wait until very near the end of the period and then offer another promotional price at the last minute. We choked and ported to Tello so that we could port back in for the newest promo price but it was completely unnecessary. They offered us a new promo about 10 days before the expiration of the yearly service. Also be sure to look for Cash Back opportunities from applicable credit cards and shopping sites when making payment.

I have Esim in my phone - and physical Sim in Moms.
Here's what I'm going to do - I'm going to keep Mom on USM - but transfer her over to the limited plan for $8/mon. She never uses much data - and most likely connects to Wifi for data while at home. Seems to be the best deal for her - Visible offers no such plan. I'm going to take advantage of this deal since it's even cheaper than USM current discount for their high tier plan + I get Watch + I get $15/mon discount for Fios. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Yeah I have been with them since they had the old Visible+ plans and when I asked if I can apply the 5 dollar off thing they basically treated me like I was insane. I am not overall happy with their customer service anymore to be honest.

What????? Never...Porting doesn't work like that. If the company that "owns" the existing # doesn't allow/release the port or the customer cancels with them or fails to pay/satisfy their account in good standing before the transfer completes they will lose their number YES. that has 0 to do with visible or any other company for that matter acquiring the number.
