This is a really excellent fully upgraded plan with unlimited high speed data, and most regular Verizon customers should absolutely consider choosing Visible instead for potentially significant cost savings. We have successfully used our smartphone as a hotspot multiple times when our regular internet service was down. There are no extra data charges for high speed streaming, without any throttling whatsoever, while using 2 laptops and a TV. The regular cell service is good, too. Keep in mind that Visible is owned by Verizon and runs on Verizon towers preferentially, so don't choose this service if coverage isn't great in your area. And YES, the price will go back up at the end of the promotional year, but Visible will wait until very near the end of the period and then offer another promotional price at the last minute. We choked and ported to Tello so that we could port back in for the newest promo price but it was completely unnecessary. They offered us a new promo about 10 days before the expiration of the yearly service. Also be sure to look for Cash Back opportunities from applicable credit cards and shopping sites when making payment.

Yeah it charges the full price for another year at the end. I did last year when they had and shows next payment for 450

Perfect timing for this promo. My Mint plan was going to renew on 4/5. I was kicking myself for missing the Google Fi 50% off deal last month. So I jumped on this one and ported over 5 lines - went with the SLAMDUNK promo for the Visible+ Pro plan. Because why not!!?? It was cheaper than the Visible Basic plan with the 1-year prepay. We are also Fios subscribers.

In case you didn't know, there are multiple MVNO (mobile virtual network operators), in your hood. They all have good value, but hit/miss on customer service:

also I want to sign up with the p0rtal R, but it seems it forces me to use the R app, which to me seems will break the chain for tracking. did others have this issue and if so how did you fix it? thx

Verizon is the recognizable name brand that has more overhead costs: leasing store fronts, employees to work there, advertising, licensing fees, and lotsa corporate lawyers on retainer.
Visible is like your generic brand. They provide cell service through the same towers, but with bare bones overhead & customer service through chat only.

They show you pSIM and/or eSIM option depending on your phone's IMEI -- you would need a pSIM compatible IMEI

eSIM is instant activation (can't delay) -- cash back portals usually have trouble tracking it since you have to switch to Visible app to complete order

pSIM is delayed activation (you have to wait for the sim card) -- you complete checkout on the website so usually no problems with c/b portals

sure. If you buy the deal say today, they ask for your esim and activate immediately. If you want to say activate a month from now, you give it IMEI from a phone that is pSIM only. That way they send a pSIM in the mail and you have 1-2 months to then activate. It's pretty stupid but that is how visible is setup. Even if you dont port they make you activate an eSIM phone immediately.

The Capital One offer seems like it goes through their shopping portal which means you would not qualify for the higher value Roku Ultra 10K $40 discount.
