Not sure what happened to these Penn tennisballs. Penn Tour are okey but the se regular Penn tennisballs are hard and don't bounce at all. In short, don't buy these regular Penn tennisballs. These balls are worthless.
Buy Dunlop or different brand.
ProPenn are starting to have the same issue.

Got these last time to use on outdoor hard surface. They seem good. But if you are a hard hitter, I recommend change them after a set. If you don't care or dont hit as hard, they will last through the match session. Since most of my matches are recreational, they serve me well and they are cheap!

I guess we have a lot of pros playing here... believe me these balls are find for 95% of players out there unless u r looking to play with balls for over 10 hours in which case you are not a serious player anyways. Balls would be the least of your problems. or if you are rich then this is also non factor.

That having been said, I use minimum the heavy duty Penn even on clay, the red ones are lower quality and last less even for teaching and the felt also goes a lot faster. This is tempting but the annoyance isnt worth it. Now if iw ere just teaching some 3.0's on a part time basis, then this would be perfect. great price for that or any player 3.5/4.0 and below.

Sure, they are fine to hit with and play with. That doesn't make then any good. Penn balls don't last very long and often bounce oddly due to the line in the ball having a poor "cut" causing a nub of sorts. Good price for a low quality ball that will cause a lot of errors.

Great deal on balls but these balls play like concrete. Your arm will be a tad sore after a full sesson. But still great deal!
