I switch to waxing chain and I am happy. I was lubricating my chains after every ride before. Now, re-wax about every 500 miles of riding.

This. Waxing is a bit of a process, but the time spent upfront pays out dividends over the long run. Highly recommend waxing (paraffinic wax in a slow cooker).

Same, but for mucky (early spring, wet, gritty kickup) conditions I tack on something like this, which you're most likely not supposed to do haha. but waxing is so nice in dry.

Yeahhhh. You can't suggest any sort of chain maintenance without being told that you are wrong if you aren't exclusively waxing.
I bought this, FWIW. I do wax my chain, but usually mostly for indoor training and road riding. I tend to prefer something more like the muc off for the rest of the more gritty stuff.

haven't taken the jump to waxing chains yet, this looks like decent lube for now

How many thousands of miles do you guys ride to make waxing worth it?

if you dont ride much just use lube. wax is excellent but not really ideal for casual riders.

the "discount" on this product is illusory, the product is so bad you should not consider using it for 1 cent per bottle.

muc off is well marketed rubbish. buy some finish line, plain old wd-40 or splurge on silca's lubricant if you feel like getting fancy.

Yeah, the only Muc-off lube I've seen be tested to be decent is their regular dry-weather biodegradable chain lube (the stuff that smells like bananas). Everything else I've read reviews on was just hyper-marketed garbage.

Any thoughts on this one from Amazon (also at REI)?
