I have this. The responsiveness of this unit is so slow, buggy as hell, and freezes all the time in the same exact spot as a working v3. QC is nonexistent on these products, they are so interested in pushing in pushing a new camera every 2 weeks. Going to try Tapo
Anyone know if this device can be rtsp capable? I know it only applies to some of their products.
No, it's not.
From the Wyze website:
The Wyze Cam Pan v4 does not support RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol). RTSP was previously a beta feature for older models like the Wyze Cam v2, Wyze Cam Pan v1, and Wyze Cam v3. However, the firmware files for these versions have been removed as they are being reassessed.
Would pass on this as well as the v3, which is also on sale. Their fixed cameras seem to work really well and are stable. But the Cam Pan v4 has connectivity issues, and v3 did not play nice with my home wifi (Unifi). When I connected it, I got massive wifi interference with some other devices. Returned it and replaced it with a Tapo.

This is not a brand you want to buy if you require RTSP or use Home Assistant. Wyze is Cloud connected and App required to use their products. Look at Reolink for local use and RTSP.

I don't disagree with you but they're decent cameras for being so cheap if you can get them to work most of them time over rtsp. I do use Reolink for my important camera locations - they're rock solid with frigate.

I think it's mainly the motion problem like pan scan type problems, and also notification, a lot of random things detected as person in the middle of the night!
I don't know if they have other 4k in this price range though. Even the other latest V4 cam is 2.5k.
