Can anyone really comment on WHY and what application this would be just as great as the dj osmo pocket 4 or the mobile 7? I just purchased the 7 for my cute content and having a tough time justifying not going for the Osmo pocket 4...

If you have decent phone camera like iPhone 15 pro - iPhone 17 pro, mobile 7 is more than enough. If you have a weak phone camera, go with Osmo action 4 or 5 or even pocket 3

Thanks for the response, but Im only considering the pocket not the action, & need to know if its worth waiting

I currently have the OM 7p Vlog edition w/ mic mini.
The OM8 adds 360 degree rotation versus 270.
And it also adds Apple DockKit.
Having said that, I am going to wait for the Pocket 4 and sell my OM 7p.
I just bought the Mic 3 which with the newest OM 7p update works via the multifunction adapter.
Why DJI does not make a MagSafe multifunction adapter is beyond me.
They make a Magsafe adapter. Why not go that extra step.
There are third party items on Amazon that are Magsafe and support the adapter.
