Bite or wait for possible father's day sale? I assume that the 850 cfm & mph rating is with the turbo feature engaged. I'm not finding the rating listed separately between the trigger pull and the turbo button pressed. If anyone has that info or additional info, please point the way. I have the REDMAX 8500 gas unit and the Kobalt 80v handheld blower, but would like to see how this will compare. Thanks.

Good observation. Curious, as well, so I asked the Goog. Came back with this:
Without the turbo button activated, the Kobalt Dual Port 80V Backpack Leaf Blower typically delivers a high-speed performance of approximately 776 CFM and 154 MPH. device.report +3
While the peak advertised performance of 850 CFM and 210 MPH is achieved only when the turbo button is engaged, the blower offers a range of power levels through its variable speed trigger and cruise control system. Lowe's +1
Performance Breakdown
  • Turbo Mode (Active): Up to 850 CFM and 210 MPH for clearing wet or heavy debris.
  • High Speed (Standard): Approximately 776 CFM and 154 MPH.
  • Variable Control: The variable speed trigger and cruise control allow you to lock in any speed below the maximum for continuous use.

Thanks for the deeper dig information. I'm going to wait on purchasing. I use the 80v 630cfm (in turbo) hand held for clearing the driveway as needed, but that is typically with the turbo button held the entire time. The RedMax gas unit, I have handles all else and is the same weight as this once the two kobalt batteries are accounted for. I suspect that the price will hover or possibly dip lower come father's day. My RetailMeNot 3% kickback and MyLowes points don't expire until the end of June.
