Have a lower-end one and can absolutely recommend (your call at this price point). Cuts through about any grass well, the quick-lock fold up is helpful for storage, and the lights felt like a gimmick but have come in handy when you're trying to finish as the sun sets. Hasn't failed me yet over ~6 years.

The battery for my Ego LM2000 (2015) finally died. I'm torn between replacing the battery or upgrading it.

Torque has been an issue lately, and clumps of grass have been getting stuck in the blade.

Bought this a year ago. The 10ah battery is great to have for other equipment. It was a lifesaver in the snowblower through the harsh winter.

The mower itself is very heavy relative to other battery-powered mowers. I try to basically speed mow, but it's a challenge with this. The self-propulsion isn't the quickest, and obviously drains the battery faster when it's used.

I would probably grab one of the blower kit or chainsaw deals that come with a battery. I have the 800 and I love it. I'm guessing you're contemplating an upgrade though. So tempting isn't it. 😂😂

Since the battery died perhaps it wasn't delivering enough power to generate the torque. Could just be a power delivery issue and not necessarily that your mower is going bad.
