My solution was to put one of those freebie conference phone stands under the arm to hold it up, lol.
But yes, this is mostly plastic. I wouldn't buy it at $8 again given mine has weakened in less than a year.

But yes, this is mostly plastic. I wouldn't buy it at $8 again given mine has weakened in less than a year.
I use it a couple times a day with an 11" Google Pixel Tablet, and it's been a worthwhile purchase for me.
It opens and extends nicely, collapses easily when I'm finished, and it holds the tablet steady while streaming. It has an integrated Allen wrench in case of adjustments (after using the wrench to initially put it together, I've only had to slightly adjust it once in 4 months)
