Only the mat is silicon. The cover is PP plastic (polypropylene).
While the cover is labeled "BPA-free" do not contain Bisphenol A, manufacturers frequently replace it with similar chemicals like Bisphenol S (BPS) or Bisphenol F (BPF), which can have similar hormone-disrupting health risks.
