Thinking a/b getting this, but on the fence since I'll probably never get around to playing any of them.

I'm sure 90% of your gaming library agrees with you on this one.

A lot of people perpetuated the same dumb things about this game. Even when it first released, it was very fun and enjoyable. B4B, due to having a terrible release and people falsely spreading misinformation, allows us to get amazing value for a very underrated game. 10$ for B4B+DLC and other games on top of it? This is one of the best Humble Bundles in a long time imo

I'll take it a step further: I bought Back 4 Blood on sale on Kinguin some time last year in Sept and I still haven't played it yet 🙄🤷🏾 ♂️

Worth it just for Vermintide alone. One of my favorite games. Super satisfying to do well in the harder difficulties. Amazing voice acting too!

The issue I had with the game was the card system. I just wasn't a fan of it. I wanted more of an RPG or skill tree version of L4D. That's what I was hoping for.

I wouldn't call it bad but it doesn't bring me back the same way l4d does.

They fixed the card system in later patches, where you now start with your chosen 15 card deck, and then can purchase more at safe rooms or randomly scattered in the world. Actually adds more fun and dynamic options to each run, whether you buy that weapon attachment or save for that possibility of upgrades. The DLC missions are a step above the main game, they're bigger, more open and visually distinct, with the museum and an art deco-inspired TV station being real highlights. Had a lot of fun playing 2 player co-op, the bots are just useful enough in that mode. Shame the rocky launch sunk any further support past the first season of content.

Another user mentioned it, but they greatly improved it. I'm sure you would have liked the card system more if the game was easier, which was indirectly made easier by giving you your entire deck from the beginning. If you ask me, someone who owns and played many RPG, that's as close to "RPG" as an RPG can get. Even if you started off with only 5 cards, RPG games you level up and earn more skills (cards) and stats (cards). So like I said in my main comment, people perpetuating the same things. I don't think the game was ever marketed as "L4D but better", from what I remember it was "made from the creators of L4D".
