$800 for a Made In China guitar. If it was $600-500 I would fold and get it as a backup.
You should probably go ahead and check the Epiphone market before speaking about a subject you don't know newbie. Most if not all new top end Epiphones are over $1K these days. Check the Adam Jones LP as an example.

It's a cool guitar, I wouldn't mind getting one if it wasn't associated with Dave 😅
I know I know, I was just joking, kinda.

You would think. But it could be because a new color or variant. Or limited time offer. The original Gibson one didn't sell for very long either.
I disagree, if it was one store then you may have a point. As you can see there are multiple stores selling at this discounted price. Looks to me they are trying to discontinue this guitar. Was it a good seller?

It ain't 2006 and these aren't $200 guitars. I have a Chinese Jackson soloist that is one of the nicest guitars I've ever played. I liked it so much I went to buy an American but it's way nicer than the stripped down American soloists. 🤷 ♂️

They say that playing a signature model doesn't make you play like the artist. But I bought one of these and suddenly wanted to start cheating on my wife and denying AIDS!

I mean, if you dislike Epiphone/Grohl, the Squier Starcaster that nobody would make their signature model is a frontpage deal at about 1/3 the price: https://slickdeals.net/f/19377201-squier-affinity-starcaster-deluxe-lake-placid-blue-280?attrsrc=Personalization%3AInterspersed%3ATrue&src=frontpage_disco
though it is Fender scale length instead of the shorter Gibson

You do realize there is an Indonesia-made Tom Delonge Starcaster, right? Of course one of the longest-running and most successful (and best reviewed) signature models is the Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster. I'd take that Jazzmaster or the blue Starcaster over this shitty Grohl Epiphone eight days a week.

Mocking people you don't know and/or their situations is dumb and churlish. Just don't.

Just FYI huge neck!
1st fret: ~0.91" (23.1 mm)
12th fret: ~1.00" (25.4 mm) but... some reason neck feels even bigger then factory measurements. I have a large hands and it wasn't comfortable for me
if you like slim necks you should pass!
