Yea this is an odd one, similar to Armaf Precieux 1 (which also comes in 1.85 oz size).
It's a good deal if you're specifically looking for this one.

Just because it is a dupe and by Lattafa, there can't be different tiers of quality? This is an excellent dupe and there are plenty of reviews online to back that up. Also, there's not a war going on in the Middle East or anything which is making all fragrances from that region cost more...

This one is smaller in size because it's absolutely nuclear. This one that it's cloning (Megamare) is known to be one of the strongest fragrances out there hence the smaller bottle size. You will clear out a room with multiple sprays of this stuff.

Fragrances from the ME have been going up in price heavily over the past few years. Influencers get paid to push it, so some of these brands charge $75-100+.. with $50 being the usual and these $25-30 being considered a "slick deal" for a 1.8oz now. It has nothing to do with the war. Some of these, like the Jawhara ones, I believe are made in Spain and just try to play off the ME hype.

These companies feel that if Creed can charge $300 for a bottle, that their dupe is worth at least $100, especially when people are being paid to push it online and help justify the price

yes I second this very strong scent and smells just like salt water almost no use as a cologne never have used it again after I purchased it.

Very much agree about the initial price and the influencer hype around new release. However the price eventually comes down once the hype gets over (might take a while for some, while quicker for others), because influencers move on to the next release. I personally don't touch anything until it's below $30/100ml (but that's just me).
This particular one was released in 2024 and has stayed at higher price for a while (I believe it's not even being hyped right now). If you're particularly interested in this one, it's a good price. If you're not being picky, then there are other options for cheaper.
