It would have been nice if the list price was included here so people could easily determine how slick this deal is.

Thinking about finally getting a MS 2024 or whatever the latest version is. For experienced pilots, is this a solid controller to get?

It will work. It's plastic and creaky but it's a good entry hotas for the price. I would not recommend it for a space or combat sim where you are turning and burning.

Check out the VKB Gladiator. Its best for the price (its more expensive around 120 for the stick but way better)

Absolutely, I have two gladiators with the left side angled and I love them. But I started with this Thrustmaster for 1/3 the price and for a long time that was just fine. If you want something in between the two then consider a T16000M with or without the throttle.

I have a Gladiator and while it's amazing I wouldn't say it's comfortable to use by any means, this looks comfy
