These have a bitter coating on them which can cause connection issues in certain devices. The coating can be removed by lightly sanding it off, or wiping it off with rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol.

Doesn't Woot basically use Amazon stock or get their stuff from Amazon? Amazon has tons of issues with counterfeit batteries. I would be leery of this.

I bought two of these 4 packs from Amazon on subscribe and save from SD posts a few weeks ago and delivered on Monday. They looked odd and the first battery I tried was dead. I contacted Energizer and they asked me for pics of front and also back of package and told me that they were counterfeit. They suggested I buy only from local stores such as Walmart or Target or CVS, and avoid ebay and Amazon. I contacted Amazon and they gave me a refund.

I am glad someone is on record to say this. I have been trying to warn people about it and they kept saying that I am paranoid. Batteries and SD cards are 2 things that I don't buy from Amazon any more. It's sad but true
