Would it have killed them to make it 1¢ cheaper?

I'm sure it wasn't deliberate in this case since it's a mid-range charger from a big company, but I'm convinced that MobileX (a Verizon MVNO) sets their flagship cellphone plan to $14.88/month in a poor attempt to manufacture outrage and go viral. As they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity. The CEO is a bit of a psycho on Twitter.
