Defend yourself from what? Guns aren't allowed, so you don't have to worry about gun violence. Since Amazon can't ship knives there knife violence isn't a thing. It's pretty lousy there are no alternative pocket clip locations for this item. That would keep me from buying it no matter how cheap it was.
