Well, didn't really need this but ordered anyways. Hopefully I can sell my almost 20 year old Craftsman for 20-30 to pay for part of this 😂 My dad has the 9 gallon version, it is super quiet. I would have preferred that as this is probably going to be a bit large for me, but I also have a small 4 gallon Ridgid for around the house, so this will just stay in the shop/garage.

Premium hose is like rubberized hose vs plastic on the standard models. Less likely to kink I believe (based on other shop vac brand hoses I have).

As a non-member, I'm seeing the full price as well as the 5% surcharge. I'm on the payment page looking at $170 for this. Never purchased from Costco before, so I might be missing something.

*Update #2... Just in case you didn't see the other post, it was confirmed this larger vacuum uses the 2 1/2" adapter.
*Update... Sorry everyone, it looks like SD is breaking the link. Search for 1-7/8" Swivel Vac-Hose Tip from a vendor called SuctionEqualsSafety.

I have the 9 gallon model and it's crazy quiet for a shop vac. Unless this model has a hose that more easily rotates, I'd strongly suggest ordering this aftermarket part. It will save your sanity when using the vacuum.
