Awesome deal! My Ridgid is so loud that I wear ear protection while using it, or for smaller jobs, I use my battery shopvac just because it's quieter. Looking forward to selling that one and not needing to do that anymore.

These do not, that's part of why they are quiet the exhaust is muffled/no exhaust(blower) port. Which is a plus for me, the ones with blowers going all the time just kick up dust behind you while you're trying to vacuum.

I have a similar model (the can is chrome vs. yellow), it simply is one of the BEST purchases and useful tools I have ever had.

I have this exact vac and even if it broke every year it's still the only one I'd ever buy again. It's so much quieter than other vacs I have zero interest in anything else. That said, mine has been flawless for the past 2 years. I'm sending this one as a gift to my brother.

It's so quiet+strong even the wife loves it. After I cleared out some spiders with it, she put googly eyes on and dubbed him DeWalter

Also, works really well hooked up to a dust separator + table saw
