Community Reviews
Anker's 6 port GaN charging station stands out as a compact desk hub for powering a laptop, tablet, phones, and small accessories from one place. The retractable USB C cables, built in display, and ability to replace a pile of wall adapters make it feel tidy and overkill in a good way. Full output depends on the right EPR rated USB C cable, and the unit can run hot at high wattage. The app and clock features also require Wi Fi and an account, and the USB A ports and some low end USB C devices have been unreliable for some setups.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. Wi‑Fi and an account are needed for the clock and other smart functions, and the app connectivity is part of how it operates; Bluetooth is also available for connectivity. The clock cannot be set manually without the app/Wi‑Fi setup.
It can reach 140W on port 1, but only with an EPR/140W-rated USB-C cable. With multiple devices connected, one setup reported 140W on the first port and 100W on the second, and the unit can get very hot at those power levels.
Yes. It is used as a single charging station for a laptop, tablet, and multiple phones at the same time, and it can replace six wall adapters. Cable management can be a bit of a pain, but the port count makes it practical for a desk setup.
Yes. It can get very hot when pushing high wattage, and the top needs airflow; placing items on top is not recommended. Heavy multi-device charging is where the heat is most noticeable.
The USB-A ports have been reported as very flaky and sometimes almost never working. For dependable charging, the USB-C ports are the safer choice.

this was the funniest thing i have ever read.
I use Chargie devices that connect to my phones by Bluetooth to cut off charging at 80%. But, when the power cuts out briefly, they lose connection and my phone ends up charging to 100%.
I bought a cheap power bank the other day that seems to be working so far. So, I'm good for now.

Last Anker charger I purchased advertised 140w but only did 100w per line.

What would make more sense is to just let people use the clock without WiFi/ntp since 99% of people are probably only connecting for the clock function, especially after all the eufy issues and how they handled them :^)
