Weird. I updated my post and it somehow made a duplicate. I received my jump starter last night. I fully charged it to 100%. I am surprised how small these things are at 7" x 3.5". The plastic clamps feel so small and fragile compared to my regular metal jumper cables but they obviously work fine as these are the typical size for portable jump starters.
  • When I used my Amazon fast charging cable in the fast charging port, my Motorola phone would chime and start to charge but then immediately stop charging and the jump starter would turn off. I thought maybe the usb port was defective. I had to use the provided charging cable that is used to charge the jump starter. The provided charging cable worked for fast charging my phone. My other usb cables work fine in the regular slow charging usb port. I can charge 2 devices at the same time. The flashlight works fine. The real test will be the jump starting. My car battery is fine and strong though right now. Knock on wood.

I just bought it. I never had a portable car jump starter before but I helped 2 people jump start their car the past couple months with my jump starter cables. With the flashlight, strobe and SOS and the USB charging, it makes more versatile for me. It is good to always have a flashlight and portable charger handy especially when your car breaks down. For $30, it gives me more peace of mind. I already have a Slime portable air compressor that I keep in my car and that I plug into the 12 volt car outlet so I didn't need that feature. I will do a full charge for the portable car jump starter every 2 months.
  • I am still keeping my husky jumper cables in the car though along with this portable car jump starter. 2 options is better than 1.

I bought this and it showed up yesterday. I had to look hard but there is a button on the plug that goes into the charger that says force start. Google AI says that the button is the boost button 🤷 ♂️

Yea for super dead batteries that are too dead to trigger the electronic start.
Arrived, seems ok, from 80%+ it only charges at 5v, so i haven't seen it charge faster.
