For those who haven't heard of Franklin Guitar Works. They're great. I bought an Eastman acoustic and a Squier XII 12-string Jazzmaster from them. Great service, quality, and shipping.

They're an official refurbisher for fender brands. I've bought a couple from them with no problems.

I'd take the classic vibe starcaster over the affinity any day, mainly for the better hardware.

I've been wanting a starcaster for awhile, mainly to try to emulate the Tom Delonge vibe...., but I don't think this is it.

1) as someone whose first guitar was a tom delonge strat back in 2002, I gotta say, knowing what I know now, I'm not sure why any sane person would limit themselves to one single pickup? unless you're truly never ever going to play anything but the bridge? I'm guessing it's more about the look? I at least sort of get wanting the delonge Starcaster, since it's the only way to get a MIM version of it. that being said, 2) they were just on sale for $850, whatever you do, do not pay $1300+ for it
