Oupes Mega 2 is a Youtuber fave, and for good reason.

I am a fan of their Exodus 2400, but hated the Exodus 1500. The 1500 was loud as a jet engine.

I no longer recommend Oupes as a brand, but do recommend specific Oupes products.

Close to buying a few for home appliance UPS backup but put off by idle consumption/noise. If you aren't using it 24/7 the price is definitely right.

Oupes, it fell off the table!

But, it is s good price for the capacity. The quality is what would concern me.

I returned mine, it was a huge hassle talking to them for a week. they required a video of the issue, which was the fan kept turning on every few minutes without load. that was apparently a feature to trigger the fan based on temperature, which was about 68 in my room.
If you buy it for your garage you're probably ok.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, when solar generators go on sale you can get a 3000 watt and 3000kwh capacity solar station for around $530+ tax. There are many websites that have these deals and sometimes have cash back deals up to 200$. AliExpress has those deals and there is another website that begins with a T and ends with U. That other website has the best cashback deals. 400 watt panels should run $125-$150. This powerstation is good for light camping if this power station was $160-$170 then this would have been a deal. This will not power your washer or dryer in an outage to give you an example. I personally use Pecron Solar generators as they are the best bang for the buck. Good luck to everyone during the energy crisis.

Great specs for the money.

Another important spec is the 23.15 lb weight. Perhaps too heavy to lug on a hike but good for car camping.

While I was one of the first people to talk about user power stations as a UPS as they entered the sub 15ms switch over time a year or so back, admittedly its not all sunshine and roses.

A traditional UPS is more mechanical than smart device, all these power stations have a hundred ways they want to mess up and thus may fail as a UPS, or randomly reboot, etc.

You can mitigate much of that with a traditional UPS Infront of them to handle that reboot, or random issue.

But then you are still left with another pretty staggering problem; battery care.

LFP batteries do not like being left at 100% charge, in the owners manual you are sure to see some terms and conditions that state something like if you do not deplete and recharge the battery at least every few months you void the warranty. It's that big of a deal that they need to put it in writing because they know many people are going to have units not function, or fail to perform due to improper battery care.

A UPS should be set and forget, so who wants to set a reminder to unplug a device, let the battery discharge, hope your stuff doesn't go offline, and then recharge it again?

You can automate this to some degree, but now your making it even more complex and could still end up in a situation that the worst case is your reality, say your automatic battery depletion coincides with when the power goes out?

Just a word of caution from someone who investigates things in detail and has literally taken these things apart to see how they work (and hack them).
Last word of caution, I can only attest to the Ecoflow Delta 3 Plus as that was the unit I went with for my first "UPS" the inverter quality is sub-par, it was not a nice clean sin wave like I would want for my sensitive electronics.

I just got the Mega 1, 1024 Wh, 2000 W, for $299 last week during their Spring Clean sale. It has great reviews amongst the camping crowd over on YouTube. Hope it works as well as they say.
