Your reminder that an unmade bed is actually better for your bed health (it kills mites by letting your sweat evaporate and cooling down the sheets / mattress.)

If you absolutely pathologically need to make your bed try to wait a couple hours after getting up, but I'm not your mom.

My AI summarized it in 10 points. Adding my end comments to it.

Start Your Day with a Task Completed: Making your bed first thing in the morning sets a positive tone, proves discipline, and provides a sense of accomplishment that carries through the day. (Make Breakfast, check)
You Can't Go It Alone: Success depends on teamwork; you must find people to help you paddle because no one can endure life's hardships alone. (See end of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, song and dance routine)
Only the Size of Your Heart Matters: A person's value is determined by their determination and grit, not their size, race, wealth, or social status. (See movie A Knight's Tale)
Life's Not Fair—Drive On: When life is unfair and you are punished without reason, do not complain or blame others; instead, keep moving forward and define yourself by how you overcome adversity. (Read If-- by Rudolph Kipling)
Failure Can Make You Stronger: Do not fear failure or "the Circus"; use setbacks as fuel to become stronger, faster, and more confident for future challenges. (See end of movie Conan the Barbarian, 1981, and Nietzsche quote in it)
You Must Dare Greatly: To overcome obstacles, you must take calculated risks and slide down the "Slide for Life" headfirst, trusting your abilities rather than living in fear. (Nothing ventured, nothing gained.)
Stand Up to the Bullies: You must have the courage to fight off "sharks" and bullies, standing your ground even when facing significant threats or adversity. (See Braveheart)
Rise to the Occasion: In the darkest moments, you must try to be your very best, as these are the times that truly test and define your character. (See Faramir, The Return of the King, movie)
Give People Hope: One person can inspire an entire group; by showing hope and determination, you can bring people together and make a difference. (See Aragon in Return of The King, movie, before walking the paths of dead).
Never, Ever Quit: Quitting is a decision you will regret for the rest of your life; life is what you make of it, so you must never give up on your dreams. (See Rocky III, on beach pep talk)
Great. I saved 1.99 and several hours getting a summary of ebook. I will take these principles to heart, and quote them repeatedly like Arnold Schwarzenegger does with rules for what to do in a crises situation in Twins.

This is just the journal and not the actual book.

Thanks, that saved $2 and the time to read the book. Now I'll remember to make my hotel bed every time before checking out.

That is not a study. It's an opinion article with no citations.

Purchased the Audiobook back in 2019. Great book from what I remember.
For $2, it's worth it. Just bought it again.

OP, wow, there's actually a condition caused by bed-making occupations: Hotel chambermaids are known to suffer from "bed maker's lung," a form of allergic alveolitis caused by repeated exposure to dust mite feces.
Also, 1L of various bodily fluids possibly deposited per day 🤮😵😂

I feel like you owe someone an apology. I believe everyone that read your comment could feel the tone of your message.

This is a stupid book written by a very charismatic man who understands how to write a persuasive essay.
The argument is to make your bed so that you have 1 thing done well to start your day.
This is smart, but making your bed isn't. (bedbugs, dust, toxins can accumulate and not making it airs it out)
I read the book and it is well written and argues its point reasonably. It feels like it was created by someone raised by a military-industrial complex that loves creating the same old thing rather than innovating.
I find the better choice is to 'believe six impossible things before breakfast'
For me, these are things like 'My code will work without errors today, or I will eat only healthy foods today'. It doesn't always work but any day when it does is significant progress.

😂 that's has to be one of funniest science articles i ever read. That's total tongue in cheek though. Not likely true.
