Despite the listing specifying a 15W rating because that's the power level it's certified to under USB-IF specification (3A @ 5V), it can support higher power level with third party protocols. For example, if both the device and charger supported Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 they could negotiate up to 36W (3A @ 12V) with this cable.

This is a great deal on a long, USB-IF certified USB 2.0 (480Mbps) cable.
