I think You can get unlimited from total for $20. Why go through hoops here to measure data use.

That 40GB plan from Lyca should fit like 99.99% of people's needs. I do between 20 - 35 Gigs per month. Never went over 35GB.

WOW... so Lyca is switching from Tmobile to AT&T. I wonder how is the AT&T network, never used it in my life time but I read that it is good or that there is no bad network in the USA

Today, I feel you need choices and the more choices the better it is for the consumer. And today, a smart customer is the one that SWITCHES yearly or when their promo ends so for Lyca, it would be 9 months.

I will add that most of my friends say.. I have been with Tmobile or I have been with Verizon for 20+ years and I will not switch. THIS IS SOMETHING I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND. Sinced switching (it's been about 4 years, I have saved a ALOT of money... we are a 3 member family).

Pretty expensive 3 month promos.

Cheaper options with longer promos.

LycaMobile 40GB monthly $12.50/9 months.

LycaMobile 18GB monthly $7.50/6 months now

InfiMobile 5GB 12 month plan $49/$4.08 month

InfiMobile 10GB 12 month plan $75/$6.25 month
I tried to order from Lyca two days ago and got payment declined but they didn't even try to process my card. They've been having serious technical issues for at least around a month now. Lyca is not a serious company. Always use a virtual card when dealing with Lyca, and bd prepared to lose your phone number when it comes time to port out (they did make it possible to get port out information via the Web site semi-recently, but the technical problems made that non-functional for me).
Edit: Actually the port out info is available on the Web site now. Not sure about the plan purchase issue though.

Wow, just finding out as I really need att for my area since tmobile still doesn't get reception in most areas and Verizon is only slightly better. Definitely gonna look into switching to lyca.

I went with a prepaid t-mobile $3 a month. No longer available directly from tmo but one can get it from ebay for some extra upfront. Last I checked(3-4 years ago) was like $40 one time, then $3/mo.
