Dirt would just fall through and settle.


What's the point of having drainage for dirt? Isn't it better to sit on top of each piece so that you can just vacuum or sweep it up to clean it?

Many of the popular interconnecting tiles on the market have slits designed specifically for dirt drainage (as well as liquid)

Remove the tiles once per year, or on whatever cadence you want, if you feel it necessary to remove the dirt underneath the tiles.
