There are better gaming cpus, but that is crazy good price and it's a 12gb 5070. Hopefully these are in good condition.

The processor is a downer. If it was a 7900X it would be FP. That said, still a good deal.

The 5070 only comes in a 12GB version. It's just the normal card.

Edit - Ignore my comment. 7900 is a non-OC 7900x. Or a 7900x on Eco apparently. You can manually OC if you want, I'm being unnecessarily picky. This is a very, very good deal at today's prices and quite honestly even if they drop a bit.

there is not a sustancial difference 7900/7900x are almost identical, 5%?

Yeah, you're right. 7900x just seems like a better binned 7900 and manual OC'ing can essentially make them the same. Given that this is driving a 5070 and not a 5070ti/9070xt, I'm being overly narcisstic about needs. To be fair I still said it was a good deal but I think I'm always looking for the best deal on here. TL;DR - I'm likely ordering if in stock in the AM.

Cheaper than my 3070 pre built PC from 2020 with twice the ram and a better CPU cooler.

Cpu, ram, and gpu would already add up to $1300.

The rest is free. 😂

Even pre-AI this is a pretty good deal. More or less get the parts at or near cost without having to spend the time building it yourself and hunting down individual deals. Would buy if I didn't already upgrade my setup. Oh well maybe something similar in 4-5 years?

Bought this last time it came up. Came packaged securely with no damage and 0 issues with it. Great deal. The default case is a bit ugly but I moved the build into a new matx case and it's been doing great. Main downside is the PSU is not modular at all

Can anyone weigh in on any upgradability restrictions with this? Soldered components or something like that.

Do not get these there has been huge issues with them all over YouTube people in comments making it clear that they won't turn on or there are some GPU malfunction within a week or two of using them and I myself got this exact one and 12 days into owning it it had issues with the power and GPU Acer got me a second one and that one literally had an issue one day after turning it on

A friend of mine got a similar Acer refurb that did not work out well at all. In his case the Acer was using the generation of Intel CPU that had a critical flaw (supposedly fixed by BIOS changes) that was the cause of the issue, so I wouldn't expect the same here, but just a word of warning. Fortunately returning it wasn't too difficult so it could still be worth the gamble at this price.
