After surface prep, I put motion lights up and they have stayed up through wind, cold and hot sun. I use this stuff a lot.
When peeling off, take your time, only removing a little bit at at time and it should not harm the surface.

This isn't the brand I used, as I got mine from temu before trump ruined cheap Chinese goods, but I am sure this is pretty much the same.

i dont use it super heavy stuff, but when i try to remove the tape, it ripped the paint off my wall. so remove carefully
I have an Alien Tape (not sure if that was the original brand before these knockoffs came out) but that melts the stickiness in the sun and things fall off. Only light stuff like wires for holiday lighting, etc stay on but that could also be because I have one layer under the wire and another layer over it in a plus sign.
