Unpopular Opinion: Probably his last decent book. All downhill after this.

the first and fifth books are also at this price, and it gives you the good whispersync discount on the audible if you get them. Excellent series

There's a lot of hate on this author and for good reason, as a person I really was disgusted by him (for many reasons, including the way he spoke about other authors etc). Though as someone who enjoys a variety of fantasy books including the works of George R. R. Martin, Terry Brooks, and of course Tolkien etc, I really enjoyed these books. This first 4-5 are the best IMHO and honestly are way underrated. I get hating on the author, but this series is actually excellent in my opinion. I really enjoy his character focused storytelling and I enjoy how he tries to put some balance and thought behind things like the magic systems etc. Good books aren't mutually exclusive and we can enjoy as many of them as we are willing to spend the time to read and I honestly think this is an excellent book including the books that preceded it and the ones that follow are a mixed bag but still solid IMHO.

Great novel. Even greater series. Definitely worth the pickup but be warned that this is the 4th book in the series. So while you can read it stand alone , it so much better after the first 3. And the 6th book Faith of The Fallen is the best

Definitely disagree with this opinion. The sixth book is the best of the series but the whole 20+ book series is worth the read
