Anybody on here have good luck with a welding helmet, 1-200? Have a class coming up and not sure what good features are other than auto-darkening.

Just go to harbor freight and try on the ones they have. Get the most comfortable one you can afford. If you stick with welding, get a nicer one later.

Autodarkening is the main thing. Harbor freight will be fine for class. The more expensive lenses typically provide better visibility of the puddle but isn't necessary if you're still learning. Love my Lincoln 3350.
