It is convenient for a quick car wash/spray, but for a patio or whole house pressure wash it just isn't nearly as powerful as my 3200 PSI gas model and on the highest power it chews through the batteries. My 1st one was defective with an outlet housing that leaked/sprayed a ton. Replacement was fine.
I hate to say it, but the biggest win on this unit for me was the 2 extra batteries for the rest of my Ego gear. (Chainsaw, blower, mower, trimmer, etc)
I do see it having a nice benefit for campgrounds or other remote uses since you can use a bucket of water as a source when you don't have a hose hookup.

Meaning that two-stage electric snowblower can do everything you'd ask of it, including the end-of-driveway plow buildup. The issue isn't with performance and hasn't been in years. The issue is, that instead of batteries coming down in price, they've been consistently increasing in price. EGO have actually been shrinking the batteries included with their snowblowers, with some now shipping with 7.5 Ah or even 6 Ah.
To get specific, you can walk out with a good residential two-stage gas snowblower for under $1K that will do your entire property in one-shot. If you want the same from an EGO two-stage (i.e. swap batteries, but no mandatory recharge mid-flow), you're looking at 2x 10 Ah batteries and the two-stage EGO snowblower, which means you're easily pushing $2K closer to $2.2K.
Plus of course batteries are a consumable item (every 5-7~ years), and a darn expensive one for 2x 10 Ah or 2x 12 Ah. Even with gas, oil, and spark plugs, you're going to be underwater.
The convenience of just firing it up and getting a quarter of my driveway done before the batteries drain, even if it took me 4 Sunday's, would be amazing. If these ever get up to 2.5 GPM like my Simpson, I'll be all over this.

- Slow (low GPM)
- Battery only (no extension cord option)
I think having batteries is a virtue, but some tasks are just too big for battery only, and the low GPM will only worsen that. So you're signing up to be frustrated, set up the water hose, get in position, run for a few minutes, 60-minute recharge, run for a few minutes, 60-minute recharge, etc. If this just had an optional plug on top of the batteries, then the battery feature is just a bonus thing and not an Achilles heel.Stick with gas for power washers. This one is an easy PASS.
