Yes, Canrival is known as the Walmart of cruises.. they are terrible. NCL runs a very "tight ship". I took a 7-day Carribean cruise maybe 6 years ago have nothing but good things to say about them I'd never recommend Canival to anyone

. Well I've been on both and disagree. The propaganda that they're ghetto etc is coming from competitors. Do they have some ratchet ish go on? I bet, esp if they're that low priced. But I tell you what I liked them both, but I definitely liked carnivals energy a lot more and they don't nickel n dime u at every turn. Like the Norwegian "free," drink package that they tack on nearly $400 per couple mandatory, forced gratuity etc to make you feel like you're not getting bent over as much for their cruise costs lol. And that's on top of the other forced 20% gratuity n other fees which ends up being another several hundred dollars. I'd much rather spend 4-500 on a 7 day carnival Caribbean, than nearly triple that. I'm going on a Norwegian that the mother in law gifted us in a couple wks. They have whacky ridiculous times on islands too, that one has a 6am to noon etc. While w carnival you're on every island for 8 hrs minimum.

Just saying…calling them terrible is a huge stretch. Let's be real. I like certain things more with Norwegian, but it's not worth triple by any stretch of imagination. And for you to say nothing but good things to say… no complaint w how ridiculously tiny their areas are for on board entertainment? For the comedies, price is right, etc. Shoot their live music venue even on the new prima only holds like 100 people for a ship w 3000 people on it. It makes it nearly impossible to utilize the entertainment that you paid all that for.

Don't be a knuckledragger, you know exactly what I'm saying. It's def not as bad as it's made out to be and it's happily being spread by competitors lol. Again, these things, like most anything in life are all in what you make them. I suppose some cruise lines subjectively can be worth double the price for a VERY similar itinerary, but many just simply aren't.
