Yes, they have 3 blade cartridges that need to be replaced eventually and will cost about $15 to $40 depending on where you buy it from.

My experience is opposite. I finally got an electric shaver a couple months ago (Phillips 8000 on sale from Costco) after shaving with Gillette razors for decades. Now I so regret not having done so earlier.

It's liberating. I now shave daily instead of once a few days because I hated applying cream and the irritation/burn afterwards. Shaving now takes a minute and I have virtually no irritation. I shave dry and the closeness is not as good as with a razor, but it's more than acceptable.
