I have the older 3600x series shaver and I'd like to mention a few tips for anyone looking to buy this
Personally I don't mind always looking like I have a 5 o' clock shadow beard

https://static.slickdealscdn.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif but that's the best outcome I've been able to get with any of the many norelco shavers I've been using over three decades.. your experience may be different but I've never been able to get a "fully clean looking shave" with it.. I stick with them anyways because I'm lazy

https://static.slickdealscdn.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Definitely register the razor per the instructions that come with the razor, I'm guessing they will extend the warranty to two and a half years... they've been really good about the warranty in the past with me and it doesn't take long to chat with their online agent (poor agents are normally online until something crazy like 12 midnight eastern standard time too

https://static.slickdealscdn.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif ) to get a replacement razor.

Take a picture of the back of the razor specifically the numbers on the back.. these numbers include the model and serial number which the online chat agent will ask you for in order to send a free replacement razor when the original razor dies (the manufacturer has kindly replaced my originally purchased razor twice in the past - three razors for the price of one you could say
https://static.slickdealscdn.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif - within that two and a half year warranty period)

Don't bother buying the replacement razor heads they suggest if you're going to use this in the shower (part of the lazy thing that I mentioned earlier, makes for a crazy quick and easy shave though). Phillips norelco razors last at most a year, usually 8 to 9 months before dying (in other words it will die before you even have to replace the razor heads) BUT

Remember that online chat agent I mentioned earlier? The chat agent will ask you a few really basic questions (did you try charging the shaver/razor in another outlet? Did you let the razor charge for an hour?) that they have to ask you then they mail you a brand new razor (complete with the razor heads that would come with a brand new razor)... the annoying part is waiting for it to arrive, when my most recent razor died it only took three days to arrive but can take as long as a week.

Because of the warranty they won't charge you a single thing for the replacement razor.. there's a slim chance they may ask you to mail the old razor back but they always include a prepaid shipping and handling label if they ask for this (in my case with the two most recent replacement razors no prepaid shipping label was included but when I asked an online chat agent about this they said if there's no prepaid shipping label that just means no need to ship the old razor back to them).

Don't bother with the expensive "specific to this razor" shaving cream they recommend... since I have sensitive skin I use cetaphil gentle skin cleanser which doesn't exactly result in a "thick lather" and it still works just fine for this razor.

If you ask the online chat agent they will mail, free of charge, a block that plugs into an electrical outlet you can plug the included usb cord into (otherwise you can just plug the usb cord into any cell phone charger and it will work too says the online chat agents I've talked to but they will gladly mail you that free charging block too).

My experience is opposite. I finally got an electric shaver a couple months ago (Phillips 8000 on sale from Costco) after shaving with Gillette razors for decades. Now I so regret not having done so earlier.

It's liberating. I now shave daily instead of once a few days because I hated applying cream and the irritation/burn afterwards. Shaving now takes a minute and I have virtually no irritation. I shave dry and the closeness is not as good as with a razor, but it's more than acceptable.

Per the seller:
"Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections."

But no trimmer. So if your hairs are a bit too long, you're out of luck.

Yes, they have 3 blade cartridges that need to be replaced eventually and will cost about $15 to $40 depending on where you buy it from.
