YMMV, but worth a look, since you have to claim it.

Looking online, it sounds like if you were subscribed to a Pro, Max, or Team plan by April 3, 2026 at 9 AM PT you are getting a credit, but that is some rando online saying that, so take it with a grain of salt.

Effective today, April 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM PT, Anthropic has stopped allowing Claude Pro, Max, and Claude Code subscribers to use their monthly subscription limits for third-party harnesses and agents, most notably the popular tool OpenClaw. [1, 2]

* New Billing Model: Third-party access now requires a separate "pay-as-you-go" option called extra usage, which is billed independently of the standard monthly subscription.
* Reasoning: Anthropic cited "outsized strain" on their systems and the need to prioritize capacity for customers using core first-party products like Claude.ai, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork.
* Enforcement: While starting with OpenClaw, Anthropic stated this policy applies to all third-party harnesses and will be rolled out across the board shortly.
