This vs olight? I've been pretty pleased with another Wurkkos light but the UI can get complex if you get in the wrong mode.

Depends on your use case imo. I have a bunch of olights and like them but the olight version of this light is close to $40. I got my workos HD03 lights for $12-16. I use these workos as cheap lights for backpacks/bags. Great for cliping on a shoulder strap or even a shirt pocket if you need light while walking around. If you need the additional features of the olight (red beacon, easier controls) for one EDC light I guess that can be worth it. I like these because I can hand one to my kid or a friend/coworker and not stress about them breaking it or losing it.

I'm a big fan of their lights in general, but I'm trying to decide if I'll use a clip light enough to justify buying

Pretty good price for a 95 CRI clip light. Trying to tell myself I don't need another light...

Although more expensive, I'm so happy with my "Hank lights", admittedly so they are "enthusiast" lights, though.

Super handy light around the grill or general task lighting

I think an effective use case for this, is if you work in construction or on the roadway or something and you want a flashing red light on the back of your hard hat, while you have a headlight on the front. And the problem with these Chinese ones is they don't understand basic colors that don't make you look like a police officer in the us. And for that reason I would probably go for an old light or something that has reasonable color choices like the red beacon.

I got this last time it was up for sale and would purchase again. The light output vs size of this is nice, clip but also magnetic. My use case is when needing a small light in tight areas working under the car were I dont have much room or use of my hands to hold a light. The only thing I dislike is all the cycling and remember how many presses and long presses it takes to get to the light I need. In time im sure that'll be learned, and makes for less buttons so it can be as small as it is, but yeah thats prob my only gripe

It's handy to clip on your sun visor on a side by side or sun visor in a vehicle if interior light isn't bright enough. I just reach up and tap it on to illuminate the whole seat area.

I just received it. It's too dim to be useful to me. I'll play with the settings and see if it can get brighter.
Build quality is very good and packaging is nice.

Edit: it's plenty bright. Just had to look at the manual.
