Cat & Dog for the C3 came with an electric motor head. The M1 has a turbo (air driven) head. To be fair the C3 version cost a lot more.
M1 does not have an electric motor head option. Only some versions of the new higher end L1 has that option.
This M1 seems like a good option for hard floors and low pile area rugs. Not a good option for wall to wall carpet.
M1 is the replacement for the highly regarded C3. There seems to be some cost reductions with the M1, for example it has 4 speeds instead of 6. It should be noted that the bag latch has been improved in M1.
