A faulty camera just blew the Poe board in my NVR and killed a camera. I made the mistake of thinking it was the dead cameras fault and plugged the remaining cameras into my switch. Same thing happened. Any advice on how to figure out which camera is the culprit since I can't find any physical indicators on any of the Ethernet plugs? (No scorch marks or burnt smells). Anything other than using a cheap sacrificial PoE switch to cycle through each camera waiting for it to blow as well? Could I sacrifice a PoE injector wall plug?

This is not a deal at $216.

But it's a decent deal now, down to $154.41.

EDIT: and just like that, it's back up to $216.
