the new one does both jobs pretty good. if you genuinely don't need it for any amount of torque the highspeed last gen one is comparable but the new one handles a lot more torque.

Nah don't really need the high speed or torque bc I have the m12 stubby and torque wrenches for really hard jobs. But I'm liking that Milwaukee is giving all of us options.Just wish the prices would be more competitive

Wish Bosch would actually sell theirs here at the major distributors.
Don't want a whole new battery ecosystem just for a ratchet.

Newer version has twice the rpm, 27% more torque, is thinner and easier to maintain. I'm sure the older model is fine for DIY mechanics, but you should be aware that there is a significant difference between this version and newer one.

meh, the newest dewalt cordless ratchet is on sale for 189 on HD and it blows the newest m12's out of the water besides the 1/4" drive milwaukee and thats on speed only. If you have some dewalt batteries, that one is a much better tool. PLUS you can switch the anvil 1/2, 3/8 and probably 1/4 sold separately.
