this deal has gone down hill since the days of trading in your old car seat to get a gift card and coupon code for 1 item like 20% off or something. I guess so many people ruined a good thing by buying used car seats from good will or garage sale to gain the system!!!

most of the time it does, but i've seen datapoints in one prior year where it doesn't. Best bet is to try stacking on the first day of the car seat event and hope that it works, before they realize these shouldn't stack and have engineers patch it.

Almost every safety expert discourages you from buying a car seat second because you don't know if it really in safe condition. This used to be the best way to recycle seats but I agree most people have taken advantage of the deal, much like everything else that used to have good deals attached to a store.
