The Tile Slim is a wallet sized Bluetooth tracker that fits where bulkier tags do not, and it can still ring loudly enough to help find a wallet, phone, or item around the house or car. It has held up for years for some, with battery life around 2.5 to 3 years. The main tradeoffs are that the battery is not replaceable, so the whole unit becomes e waste when it dies, and location updates depend on nearby Tile or Life360 phones rather than Google Find Hub. That makes it a niche pick for the slim form factor and simple nearby finding.

Didn't Life360 sell user info to 3rd parties?
Yes, if you don't opt out in the app it's being sold to car insurance companies.

Their life360 app tracks your driving habits like hard braking and distracted driving. Then is sold off if you read the fine print.

I have the TILE trackers with the Tile app (which is very handy), but have opted out and deleted the life360 app.

The life360 app is very intrusive with it's permissions and yes 100% you could get a letter from your car insurance that your premium is going up because Life360 sold your driving habit data.

As far as I know this is the only one with this form factor. If you want it in a men's wallet, this is the only game in town.
It works well locating your wallet around the house and is a nice piece of mind if you travel a lot.

They probably sell it to insurance companies who want the data so they can identity speeders. The base app is free, so you are paying for it somehow

At this point, I would avoid buying any tracker that does not work with Google Find Hub, which is similar to Apple's AirTag. Google Find Hub now uses virtually every Android phone, as it is part of the Google Play Services, to help track a device. The Life360 Tile Slim Wallet Finder is not supported by Google Find Hub; you have to use their Tile/Life360 network and hope someone else has the app on their phone to track it if something is lost, greatly diminishing the chance of locating a lost item.
agree. I'd also like UWB

Is there a choice yet? I didn't think you can get UWB with any tracker for Android devices.

Yeah I have a tile wallet and the location data will sometimes be hours or even days old before someone with the tile app has passed close enough to register. It's better than nothing but not a whole lot so. For instance, I left my phone at a store and realized it when I got home. I was able to track the phone to the store and left to go get it. When I got there I realized I didn't have my wallet. I was paranoid about losing that too so I checked the Tile app and it said my wallet was at the store too. It wasn't, it was at home but the chances of someone with a Tile app walking by my house within bluetooth range is next to nothing so it's last known location was going to be the store until I went home and found it. The main thing it's good for is if you're within bluetooth range and you can ring it. Even then, if it's on the other side of the house or out in the car it will just say it's not nearby and I still have to wander around and stand in various spots and wait...

for android users, you can check Find My compatible trackers here: https://www.android.com/learn-fin...e-devices/
these work natively with the system, very similar to air tags. tile relies on other tile users to be in the area, and that number is shrinking daily

buy the trackers elsewhere (you're SDers for gods sake), but you have real, good options. i personally use moto trackers and they work great

Weird. Why aren't Samsung SmartTags listed in that link? Edit - oops, I guess they only work with Samsung phones...

The Motorola Moto Tag is currently the only tracker on Google's Find Hub network to support Ultra Wideband (UWB).

Here's another solution in card form that works with Apple Find My. Its rechargeable also. I have not used it personally.
