I just bought one this afternoon in-store for $60.

Basically no assembly, just 3 parts: the base, the extender bar, and the fan head. It took literally 15 seconds to put it together. Modern look, seems pretty high-tech for a fan. The base has a little slot where one can store the remote out of the way, which is pretty sleek. The buttons on the base and the remote both work fine. I'm running it on level 2 (of 12) right now, and it's completely silent, but still pushing enough air to make me a little cold! (That said, it's 70 degrees F outside here today, so it's not super warm to begin with.)

It's only been a couple of hours, but I'm quite pleased!

Surprised in store price is same as web minus shipping. It's usually more expensive online plus shipping

Have the globe and it's absolutely fantastic. The wind mode is soothing at night mimicking random wind patterns and rotating.

Woozoo lasted me a good while. Had it on for 24 hours a day and it took like a year before the motor burnt out. Obviously you probably shouldn't run it 24 hours nonstop but I live in Arizona. And well, if for some reason you get a dud and it burns out before that Costco has an amazing return policy.

Anyone have thoughts on if this pedestal version is worth 2x the cost of the globe one that's on sale too?

Wondering this too, this one doesn't look much bigger than the globe one but yea is twice the price. Doesn't seem worth to me?

Was at my local Costco today and surprisingly they had tons of the globe model but this one was completely sold out. Is it that good of a deal?

I feel like yes. It's a little bigger so it's quieter at the fastest speed, and definitely gets air circulating in a room. I went back and bought a second one. It's nice because it doesn't need to sit on a table or counter. We own two of the regular smaller models too.

When I went on Monday, a lot of people were buying 1-2 of these fans. I'm in a hot/humid climate so that's probably skewed. We have AC in every room but sometimes a fan is enough. I wouldn't say it's 'drop everything and run to Costco' good but it's a good deal mostly because it's backed by Costco's return policy too.
