There's quite a bit of sugar in this sauce, starting from the second ingredient. 13g of sugar per serving. There are 6 sugars in the ingredients list:
High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sugar, Molasses, Molasses, Corn Syrup, Sucrose.

Walmart does have the 12-pack of Thick & Chunky for about $1.30 per can, which is cheaper than the Ralphs and Vons around us, but not as good as the Bold. I'm like you and prefer the T&C ... I think I've tried bold and it didn't do it for me.
