Awesome saw. Most ppl are going to say they dont need a dedicated metal saw tho and jus use a metal blade on their normal "wood saw" but this is so much better because of how its geared. You are capable of cutting much thicker material and blades last longer. Ive had this since it came out. I preordered it to get it asap. I am a professional metal worker though. 5 7/8" metal saws are good too but this takes it to another level. i even have a video posted on youtube showing this compared to 4 other metal saws. this one is the most powerful. specifically cutting square or rectangular tubing like 1/4" thick was always an issue for me with a wood saw with a metal blade. the blade hitting 3 sides of steel at a time the blades would literally get destroyed after a couple cuts or on wider steel tubing hitting the factory seam weld down the center. It just couldnt do it. Metal saws like this > bandsaws. My first choice of tool if possible is always a dedicated metal saw

The old one is 5 1/2". I used mine last week to cut a 48 foot semi trailer in half.

I have seen the saw cutting through metal like butter but not sure I have the cahoonas to just cut metal with a circular saw. And the deal is dead
