I have a 2018 volt. Do you know if it fits mine? Amazon says no, AAP says yes, google says cartridge style is better. First time trying to change my oil on my own. Confusing!

It does not fit your car. You can check the purolator website (or whatever brand you decide to use). Most brands will have a tool to match your car to the correct parts.

A bit off topic but has anyone noticed that almost all the toyota oil filters are gone in Walmart, mainly the brand, fram?

I had to travel around a bit to buy some but had to buy this oil filter brand for my car... And even that's starting to run out. Like, what's going on with that?

First Brands Group which owns Fram along with other brands have filed bankruptcy. Some of the brands are being sold off.

Noticed the Toyota OEM I buy every few months was OOS for the first time ever.

I have not been able to get any FRAM oil filters at Walmart. I went to 4 stores.

The $5 are all shelf empty. I wonder what is going on.

They declared Bankruptcy, which also affects Autolite, Stoptech, and a couple of others. https://www.hagerty.com/media/new...ve-brands/

The company that owned them went kaput. Apparently its a huge scandal with large sums of money going missing. Anyway, i think the brand has been acquired, but anything manufactured under First Brands isn't getting restocked. Unfortunately this also includes the SuperTech filters for the time being as First Brands also owned Champion Laboratories, which manufactured them.

They also manufactured the Michelin wiper blades at Costco, which has now switched over to another brand (and hopefully better blades)

I stocked up on these around Halloween time last year at advance auto I think there actually the boss. I drive a 08 Silverado 5.3 and although this pl10111 number is not the official purolator filter it is cross compatible. I believe acdelco was pf48 .
